Q17 Private AI is a private, local-first Android AI assistant and a product by Q17 AI. The app is designed to provide AI chat, voice features, vision support, image generation, projects, agents, downloadable models, optional web assistance, and premium model access.
Q17 Private AI is designed so many features can work locally on your device using downloaded models. Local chats, projects, histories, generated content, downloaded models, voice packs, image resources, attachments, and settings are intended to remain on your device unless you choose online features, downloads, billing validation, support contact, report submission, or another network-dependent feature.
Q17 Private AI may request access to your microphone, camera, photos, media, or files only when you use features that require them, such as voice input, speech features, camera capture, image understanding, document attachments, image generation, or file analysis. Supported attachments may include PDF, XML, TXT, JSON, YAML, Markdown, CSV, code files, images, camera captures, and document files, depending on the feature used. Voice input, images, documents, prompts, chats, generated content, projects, and app data are designed to remain on your device when local features are used.
Some features may require internet access, such as optional web support, model downloads, voice downloads, image-resource downloads, app updates, Google Play Billing validation, support communication, or manual report submission. When you choose a network-dependent feature, the information needed for that feature may be transmitted to the relevant service.
Q17 Private AI may allow users to download supported AI models, voice packs, image-generation resources, or related files. Downloaded files, generated content, chats, attachments, projects, agents, and voice resources may be stored on your device depending on the feature used. You can manage app data using app controls and Android system settings.
Manual report and diagnostic flows are user-submitted and are sent only when you choose to submit them in the app. Reports may include category, priority, app context, device model, Android version, app version, selected model, backend used, fallback status, timestamps, filtered logs, screenshots, and your description if you choose to provide one.
Report flows do not upload raw prompt text, raw AI response text, generated image files, or attachment files unless a future flow explicitly asks and you choose to include them. Image reports may include image/report metadata, model/profile/settings, seed, dimensions, generation time, prompt-length counts, and device/runtime diagnostics. Benchmark diagnostics may include benchmark metrics, backend/fallback state, device/runtime information, and filtered logs. Reports are sent to Q17 AI's remote report service for review, troubleshooting, safety review, abuse review, compatibility improvement, and support.
If you contact Q17 AI support, we may receive the information you choose to provide, such as your email address, device model, Android version, app version, selected model, backend used, screenshots, logs, attachments, or issue description. This information is used to respond to your request, troubleshoot issues, improve safety, and improve the product. Do not send passwords, private keys, payment card details, government IDs, medical records, or other highly sensitive information unless it is necessary for your request.
Premium purchases are handled through Google Play Billing. Q17 AI does not directly collect or store your payment card information. Google Play may process payment, purchase, refund, and subscription information according to Google Play policies and your Google account settings.
Q17 AI does not sell user data. Data may be shared or processed only when needed for features you choose to use, such as Google Play Billing, online downloads, optional web support, support communication, manual reporting, or services used by Q17 AI to receive and review reports.
Local chats, generated content, downloaded models, attachments, projects, agents, voice files, image resources, and app settings remain on your device until you delete them through the app, clear app data, or uninstall the app. We keep report data only as long as needed for troubleshooting, safety review, legal compliance, and app improvement, unless deletion is requested and we are able to verify and process the request. Support emails may be retained as long as needed to respond to the request, improve safety, prevent abuse, comply with legal obligations, or maintain business records.
Q17 AI uses reasonable technical measures to protect data handled by the app. Online transmissions, where used, should occur through secure connections such as HTTPS. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, so users should avoid submitting highly sensitive personal information unless necessary.
Device behavior can vary by phone model, Android version, RAM, storage, chipset, GPU driver, selected model, app version, backend, and runtime stability. Backend labels, benchmark results, image generation behavior, vision results, document extraction, and model responses may be imperfect and should be verified.
Q17 Private AI currently does not require users to create a Q17 account. If account features are added in the future, Q17 AI will provide account deletion options as required.
Q17 Private AI is not designed for children to use without appropriate guidance from a parent or guardian. Children should not use the app without permission and supervision from a parent or legal guardian.
